Today, designers including Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy and Stella McCartney all continue to pay homage to the iconic tailored jacket, with their own takes on the tuxedo.  And when Hedi Slimane became creative director of YSL in 2012, his reworking of the designer's classic masculine styles were an instant hit, and have garnered a celebrity following...

The success of this  simple but oh so stylish piece can probably be summed up by the great man himself who said,  "...for a woman, Le Smoking is an indispensable garment with which she finds herself continually in fashion, because it is about style, not fashion. Fashions come and go, but style is forever."

And we have a timeless tuxedo here in store, just perfect for the party season...
