True Romance

Catherine Rayner Wedding Dress by Nik Hartley (1996)

Today, London's Victoria and Albert Museum launches an exhibition dedicated to the wedding dress.  'Wedding Dresses 1775 - 2014' traces the development of the iconic white gown, and explores how it has been interpreted over the years by designers from Charles Frederick Worth and Norman Hartnell to John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood.

This romantic exhibition highlights craftsmanship as well as couture, and brings together dresses from some of the most celebrated brides, including Kate Moss's John Galliano designed gown for her wedding to The Kills frontman Jamie Hince.

The event runs until 15th March, 2015, and for more information simply click here.
