The Shirt: A Simple Lesson In (Re)Styling

I love the idea of taking something simple, and transforming it into something quite striking with a few twists and turns. That's the stylist in me!

Here the humble shirt takes centre stage in this stylish trio courtesy of The Line...




























Buttoned to the neck with a turned up collar, it's the perfect foil for the deconstructed pleats of the sheer white skirt.
















Layered one on top of the other, it becomes the ultimate shirt dress.























And buttoned down the back, it's the yoke that becomes the dominant design detail. 


And the moral of this story? Don't take fashion at face value. Have a bit of fun with your wardrobe.  You may be surprised what wonders are lurking inside!
