Prada fans head thee to Harrods!
This month the Knightsbridge store pays homage to the iconic Italian brand, with an exhibition, first ever Prada café and launch of an exclusive collection.
As reported on vogue.co.uk recently "Pradasphere will feature pieces from past collections; showcase special projects, collaborations and experiments; and the windows will play host to treasures from the Prada archives as well as a capsule collection of ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories inspired by iconic Prada collections from the last 100 years - developed exclusively for Harrods".
It's now over 100 years since Mario and Martino Prada founded their small leather goods company in Milan. But it wasn't until 1978, when grand-daughter Miuccia took the helm, that the brand was transformed into the worldwide success that it is today.
Miuccia Prada remains one of the true creatives in fashion. Season after season she continually reinvents the label, and is known for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
