Tricky Trends: How To Make Them Work

It's hard to see how this slip of a dress could be worn other than on the catwalk, but with her unstyled hair and cosy knit, blogger and model Hanneli Mustaparta makes lingerie dressing work for every day.      

This look from Louis Vuitton is just one of the tricky trends to emerge from the spring/summer shows, and in her recent article for Vogue Australia online, Zara Wong talks us through how to make them work in real life...























Head to toe colour creates a high impact catwalk look, but by taking just a single element and styling it with a contrasting shade, you can still create the same bold statement.   























The knotted cut out top is transformed into daywear with a little clever layering.






















Again, a cosy knit comes to the rescue.  The thigh high split looks no less daring but becomes much more wearable.
