Today, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London celebrates the reopening of its famous Fashion Galleries with an exhibition dedicated to British glamour.

'Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950' will feature over sixty stunning evening dresses, including catwalk creations and red carpet gowns.

The work of established designers such as Alexander McQueen and Zandra Rhodes, will be shown alongside younger labels including Jonathan Saunders and Christopher Kane in a true celebration of British design talent.

The exhibition runs until 6th January, 2013 and the V&A are also hosting a series of workshops and talks to accompany the event.  Click here for details.
