London has long been heralded as the creative centre of fashion, producing some of the top design talent in the industry.  But commercially, it has always fallen behind the success of New York, Paris and Milan.

However, following the return of big hitting brands such as Burberry and Matthew Williamson to the London catwalks in recent years, the fortunes of British fashion designers are changing.  With an ever stronger schedule of shows, editors and buyers now flock to the capital for London Fashion Week.

At the recent AW12 collections, Stella McCartney was one of the UK designers who chose to show in London, as was Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen whose diffusion line McQ hit the catwalk for the first time.

Celebrate British style in one of these great designer pieces now available in store.
